Ivo Koubek – “Tutorials in Microeconomics” workbook

On request of Ivo Koubek, our longtime colleague at Faculty of Economics VŠE, who passed away prematurely in 2017, the group of his colleagues and friends (Petr Maleček, Martin Janíčko a Pavel Potužák) created workbook Tutorials in Microeconomics.

“Workbook Tutorials in Microeconomics carries legacy of  our former colleague, friend and mentor, Ivo Koubek. Him created examples and instances were transformed and put into e-book. They were also edited where necessary and translated into english (original version was written in Czech), so the workbook is easily accessible to wider audience. We believe that Ivo would be delighted to see that his work serves to other generations of students in successfully solving such a beautiful discipline, as Microeconomics.”

Ing. Ivo Koubek (*1959  †2017) lectured on Faculty of Economics loads of subjects, such as Industrial Organization or Microeconomics. Ing. Ivo Koubek was greatly willing and patient in explaining lectured principles to his students. His pedagogical activity led to great benefits for our faculty.
