WHO CAN ATTEND?
- The programme is open to undergraduate and master’s students with a background in economics, business, public policy, or related fields from all universities worldwide.
- Participants are expected to have a strong interest in economic policy, global challenges, and leadership in a changing world.
- Enrolment is limited to ensure an interactive learning environment and close contact with lecturers.
ACADEMIC STRUCTURE
- The summer school consists of an intensive academic programme (21 lectures each 90 minutes) combining lectures, discussions, and practical sessions.
- The programme is designed as a coherent learning experience, where topics build upon each other—from economic foundations to policy applications and leadership skills.
TEACHING LANGUAGE
- The language of instruction is English.
- Applicants whose first language is not English are required to demonstrate English proficiency at a minimum level of B2.
- This requirement must be confirmed by the applicant’s home university (signed paper sent by email after payment).
PROGRAM DETAILS

LEARNING EXPERIENCE
Participants will gain:
- a solid understanding of economic policy and global governance
- insights into current economic challenges and labour market trends
- practical skills in data-driven decision-making and leadership
- experience with interactive simulations and real-world case studies
The programme also includes:
- a study trip to Český Krumlov
- an excursion to the Czech National Bank
- networking opportunities with academics and fellow students from diverse backgrounds

PROGRAMME FEE
The participation fee is EUR 1,290 per person.
The fee includes:
- Accommodation in the University Hotel (including breakfasts) 16.-29.8.2026
- Daily lunches at the university restaurant in the lectures days (choice of two meals)
- All lectures and academic activities
- A full-day trip to Český Krumlov, including transportation, guided tour, and lunch
- An excursion to the Czech National Bank
- A guided walk in Prague
